A Personal Stream is like your own library of knowledge. It’s a repository of online content that matters to you.
As a private Stream, use it to keep track of your competition or clients. As a public Stream, use it to curate a topic with high precision and share it on your social networks, or personal blog, or simply have others follow it.
What’s interesting about the Eqentia Personal Stream is that you collect or curate content via 8 different methods:
- InstAlert. It’s easy and quick. Install our InstAlert Bookmarklet, highlight a keyword and hit the Bookmarklet. That’s it. An instant alert filter is generated and content gets added to you stream.
- Syncing with Twitter Favorites. As you favorite tweets with links, they show-up in your Personal Stream.
- Syncing with Google Reader Starred and Shared folder items. Same as Twitter Favorites, auto-syncing in the cloud.
- News search queries. Search over 100,000 new articles being indexed daily from credible/curated sources. One click re-publish to your stream. It’s like searching Google News and being able to collect content you like with one click.
- Explore Eqentia curated channels (there are over 50 of them, and more being added) and add content you like.
- Add any content you see on the web via the MarkIt Bookmarklet. Just hit the Bookmarklet and content gets added to your personal stream or to any other Eqentia portals that you administer.
- Email any article to your secret Eqentia email address. Pick it up from your Account Management, and email any article you come across from anywhere on the web. Eqentia will visit that link and automatically add the article to your collection with the proper title.
- Via text-mining filters. From your Account Settings, just enter the right filters in the My Personal Stream tab, and Eqentia will fill content that’s matched to these filters.
